PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To directly connect a transmission cable, that takes matching of impedance by lowering output impedance of a solid-state image-pickup device and also to suppress the heat generation of the solid-state image-pickup device with lowered low output impedance. SOLUTION: A solid-state image-pickup device, where an image pickup part 1 and an amplifying part 2 that is constituted of a two-stage source follower amplifier are integrated, is provided with an outputting part 3 that is constituted of a MOS transistor whose output impedance is 75Ωor smaller and a switch 11 which can be electrically turned on and off and resistance 9 are serially connected between an output terminal 8 of the part 3 and a ground terminal. Thus, a transmission cable whose characteristic impedance is 75Ωor smaller can be connected directly to the output terminal, and also the generation of heat of the solid-state image-pickup device can be suppressed because current that flows to the MOS transistor of low output impedance of the outputting part is consumed by the external resistance and moreover because the switch is turned on only when an output signal is taken out.
