摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent unevenness from occurring in brightness of a wide viewing angle liquid crystal display device by arranging an orientation control window formed as a nonexistence area of an electrode film layer, and arranging an auxiliary conductive line overlapping a common electrode only in an area where the orientation control windows are adjacent to each other. SOLUTION: An auxiliary conductive line 35 is arranged in a fine line area where tips of orientation control windows 34 in each picture element are adjacent to each other and a line width of ITO, common electrode 33, becomes narrow. In a pattern form of these orientation control windows, a cross-shaped auxiliary conductive line 35 is formed so as to overlap a cross-shaped ITO line formed by making tip parts of four orientation control windows 34 gather in the area where four picture elements are adjacent to each other. The auxiliary conductive line 35 is arranged to extend over the fine line area of ITO. Therefore, since the voltage is made uniform on the whole area of the common electrode 33, a voltage impressed on the liquid crystal 40 becomes uniform in all picture elements, and this prevents unevenness of brightness.
