PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card processing system and card processor capable of adjusting the transacting amount and providing a point service cumulatively giving points according to the transacting amount by once inputting of card information. SOLUTION: When a card is inserted at n3, a POS terminal device 1 transmits card data to a host device 1 to acquire (n4 to n7) the kind of the card (a credit card, a point card or a both-purpose card). When the credit key is depressed at n10, if the kind acquired then is the both-purpose card, processing for both of credit and pointing is continuously executed. Consequently, processing for both of credit and pointing is executed by once input of card data, thereby operation is simplified and the misoperation of operator can be reduced. |
