PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a component mounting apparatus capable of detecting a vacuum nozzle failures at arbitrary intervals, without stopping the apparatus. SOLUTION: In the component mounting apparatus comprising a component feeder 2 for feeding a component 1, component mounting part 4 for positioning an object 3 to be mounted at a component mounting position B, and mounting head 6, which mounts a vacuum chuck nozzle 5 movable vertically and intermittently rotates to repeatedly make the component chucking at a component feed position A of the component feeder 2 and component mounting at the component mounting position B of the component mounting part 4, a flow measuring part 7 is provided for measuring the air flow rate of the vacuum nozzle 5 with a flowmeter 12. |
