摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nuclear medicine diagnostic equipment, capable of improving efficiency in detecting relatively high energy gamma rays while being relatively thin manufactured in matching with a relatively low energy scintillator. SOLUTION: This nuclear medicine diagnostic equipment is constituted so that gamma rays radiated from a radioactive isotope administered to a subject are detected after being converted into light by a scintillator 13, the detected gamma rays are counted as individual photons, and the internal distribution of the radioactive isotope is produced on the basis of the results of counting. In this case, the counted value of gamma rays that cause Compton effect in the scintillator 13 is added to the counted value of gamma rays that cause a photoelectric effect in the scintillator 13 to produce the internal distribution.
