PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately set the telephone number of the destination of transfer from the outside without requiring any complicate operation by an operator in this communication equipment equipped with a transferring function. SOLUTION: When an incoming signal is received from a line control part 2, a main control part 6 receives caller's information coming from a communication line 1, and stores it in the prescribed storage area of an RAM. When a personal code number for designating a processing for rewriting a caller's telephone number received through the communication line 1 from the caller as a destination of transfer telephone number is inputted in a line wire remote mode, the main control part 6 views the prescribed storage area for storing the caller's telephone number of the RAM, and confirms that the caller's telephone number is received, and then registers the caller's telephone number as the destination of transfer telephone number.
