PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical pickup of a finite system in which the aberration of an optical system is reduced even though an objective lens is moved in the tracking direction and the degradation in a data signal (RF) level and a tracking error(TE) level with respect to the system is not generated or suppressed. SOLUTION: This optical pickup consists of a freely movable objective lens 14, which converges light beams P emitted from a light emitting element, and a plate shaped aberration compensation member 37a which is arranged between the optical paths of the light emitting element and the lens 14. The angle between the normal direction of the surface shape of the member 37a, so that the direction of an optical axis 100 of the beams P is increased as it separates to the outside from the axis 100. |
