FIELD: water-supply systems. SUBSTANCE: pumping station of second-stage lift is intended for supplying water directly to consumers in water-supply systems, land reclamation, irrigation, etc. Pumping station has pumping house with equipment, water-receiving chamber, water delivery duct and pressure pipelines. Water-receiving chamber is made in the form of one or several bore-holes which incorporate casing pipes and hydraulic pipe strings. Each casing pipe has bottom with opening provided with stopper, each hydraulic pipe string has blind bottom and is connected with water delivery duct. Located between bottoms of hydraulic pipe string and casing pipe is shock-absorber. located between bottom of casing pipe and shock-absorber is hydraulic seal. In addition, pumping station is provided with collector pipeline which is connected with pressure pipelines. Aforesaid arrangement of pumping station requires no special operations for lowering of ground water level during construction and allows for reducing ground surface area occupied by construction site. Also there is no need for erection of walls and bottom of water-receiving chamber from prefabricated or monolithic reinforced concrete with subsequent waterproofing.
