PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correctly drive a correction optical system without being affected by the fitting backlash of a straight motion mechanism. SOLUTION: The rotating direction of the motor of a longitudinal direction actuator upto then is stored, and it is judged whether the rotating direction of the motor of the longitudinal direction to execute vibration proof processing is the same as the rotating direction upto then or is inverted (steps S506 and S512). The motor of the longitudinal direction actuator is driven only for the portion of the number of pulse count calculated by a controlling means in the case that rotating direction is the same. The number of pulse count is adjusted so that necessary driving to eliminate the fitting backlash of a longitudinal direction straight motion mechanism is included in the case that the rotating direction is inverted (steps S507 and S513), and the motor of the longitudinal direction actuator is driven.
