PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens meter which automatically optically inspecting intraoccular implants and an intraoccular implant inspecting method using it. SOLUTION: A lens meter for intraoccular implant is formed of a switching part 1 for switching between a refracting-power measuring chart and a resolving-power chart, a CCD camera 2 for capturing the image of the focal plane of the intraoccular implant, a Z-axis stage 3 for vertically moving a lens-barrel part, an auto focus part 4 to control the Z-axis stage 3 for the focusing of the CCD camera 2, and an image processing part 5 to perform arithmetic processing on whether the resolving-power chart is resolved or not from the image of the resolving-power chart obtained through the CCD camera 2 and on the distance between indexes from the refracting-power chart.
