STRUCTURE AND METHOD FOR CONNECTION BETWEEN MANHOLE AND PIPE JOINT MEMBER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make it possible to efficiently execute installation work at the site without need for curing time. SOLUTION: The structure is for connection between a manhole 1 buried underground and pipe joint members 2 for connecting pipes 4 to the manhole 1. The structure involves the manhole 1 having openings 11 in its circumferential side wall, collar members 3 which are integrally buried in the openings 11 in advance and further so structured that the pipe joint members 2 can be connected thereto, and the pipe joint members 2 to the ends on one side of which are so structured that the collar members 3 can be connected and to the ends on the other side of which the pipes 4 can be connected. The ends on one side of the pipe joint members 2 are structurally connected from outside the manhole 1 to the collar members 3 in the openings 11.
