PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To widen the material value limit range of construction material to be used, to facilitate dimensional control and to improve assemblability by heating a toner cap before press-fit engagement and press-fitting and engaging it in a toner filling port in a state in which its temperature is raised. SOLUTION: A toner unit J is constituted by covering the toner filling port with the toner cap 11f after it is filled with toner from the toner filling port. The toner cap 11f is formed of the construction material such as polyethylene or polypropylene or the like, and it is press-fit in the toner filling port provided on a toner frame body 11 after heating so that it may be prevented from falling off. The toner cap 11f is warmed by using a heating means such as a drier by the time just before the press-fit engagement and the warm toner cap 11f is press-fit and engaged in the toner filling port. At such a time, the temperature of the heated toner cap 11f is >=35 deg.C and <=60 deg.C. Thus, the upper limit value of the rigidity of the usable construction material is improved and the press- fitting time is shortened. |
