PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card system capable of reducing the probability of disabling communications with a recording medium and stably performing the operation. SOLUTION: In this card system, a card 1 provided with an optical recording part 2 and an IC part 7, which are the recording parts of plural different kinds, is used, the optical recording part 2 and the IC part 7 are respectively accessed at the time of accessing the card 1, and information is recorded and reproduced in the successfully accessed recording part between the optical recording part 2 and the IC part 7. Also, the card and a device are provided with plural different communication means, and the recording part is accessed through the communication means which succeeds in communication among the plural communication means. |
