<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an interface device capable of realizing plural interface systems by a sharing circuit. SOLUTION: The interface device is provided with a memory block 33 for storing receiving information from a physical layer 40, an enable signal generation block 31 for generating information transmission requesting information to be sent to the layer 40 and a write enable signal for controlling the storage of information in the memory block 33 in accordance with the current data storing information of the layer 40 and a selection block 32 for selecting either one of two systems, UTOPIA LEVEL1 and LEVEL2, based on the data storing information and a prescribed selection signal and changing the effective timing of the write enable signal in accordance with the selected interface system.</p> |
