PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically and periodically conduct a fuel switching test without human intervention during operation in a fuel cell power generating system which operates by switching a plurality of fuels. SOLUTION: When one kind of fuel is selected out of a plurality of fuels with a plurality of shutoff valves B1-B5 and supplied to a fuel cell power generating system as power generating fuel, testing intervals or testing time of the switching test of the shutoff valves B1-B5 is previously set. When the test is conducted according to the testing intervals or the testing time, switching is instructed to the shutoff valve which is closed at that point of time out of a plurality of shutoff valves B1-B5, and whether the switching is normal or not is confirmed by a signal showing the actual switching of the instructed shutoff valve B1-B5. |
