PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To select an optimum base station and to set up a speech channel without sending an idle channel signal by measuring and comparing a reception electric field level to each radio base station, selecting a radio base station whose reception electric field level is maximum and setting up a speech channel. SOLUTION: Each of radio base stations A-n sends sequentially an outgoing connection request signal 1-1 with each specific base station information added thereto. A mobile station measures and compares reception electric field levels of the outgoing connection request signals 1-1 from the radio base stations A-n, discriminates a radiobase station whose reception electric field level is maximum to be an optimum radio base station and sends a connection request 2-1 to which optimum base station information discriminated by the mobile station is added to the selected radio base station. The radio base stations A-n receive the connection request 2-1, to which optimum base station information is added, from the mobile station. When the optimum base station information indicates its own station code, the radio base station corresponding to the code conducts channel connection processing and makes a speech 3, and the other radio base stations not corresponding to the code conduct speech termination processing. |
