PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce manufacturing cost and apparatus scale by enabling detec tion of potential phase at the stoppage, without the provision of a position detecting sensor for a rotary encoder and magnetic detecting element or the like. SOLUTION: This motor is provided with a motor 1 having a rotor which uses a permanent magnet and a stator including a winding and an inverter circuit 2 for switching supply and stop of supply of positive and negative currents to each winding. In addition, a permanent phase detection control circuit 3 is also provided, including a phase detecting circuit 3a for detecting the phases of rotor and stator, by detecting a voltage induced in each winding during the operation, a non-operating phase detecting circuit 3b for detecting the phase based on an back electromotive voltage during the non-operating time and a control circuit 3c for deciding operating and non-operating times, instructing cut-off condition after supply of a current for predetermined period to each winding, when the start command is issued to the inverter circuit 2 during the non-operating times and also instructing supply or cutoff of current based on the phase. |
