<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform sure maintenance with a cleaning cassette in a changer device housing many tape cassettes. SOLUTION: A bar code stuck to a cleaning cassette has a title easily discriminated from other tape cassettes. When the door of a changer device is opened (S10), the bar code of a cassette in the default position of the cleaning cassette is read (S11), and when the cleaning cassette is identified (S14), its shelf is registered as a shelf for the cleaning cassette (S15). When the cleaning cassette is not identified, moving to another shelf a bar code is read (S16), and a shelf identified as one for the cleaning cassette is registered as such. When no cleaning cassette is found even by checking all the shelves (S17), warning is issued (S19).</p> |
