PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a sealing member from being deteriorated, or broken at an early stage by heat generation by sealing means in a developing device. SOLUTION: This developing device is constituted by providing a bearing 25 supporting a rotary shaft 16d of an agitate/transporting member capable of agitate/transporting the developer by the rotation and sealing means for preventing the developer from entering into the bearing, rotary sealing member 23 capable of rotating this sealing means in company with the rotary shaft 16d, and the fixed sealing member 24 attached to a side plate 12 of the developing device, and then the fixed sealing member 24 is fixed to the supporting member 24 to which the bearing 25 is attached and exposed on the outside of the side plate 12, and moreover this supporting member is composed of high heat conductivity material. |
