PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make plural information codes discriminable and surely readable at a high speed. SOLUTION: A two-dimensional code 17 is printed on a label 16 to be stuck to an article 15 with red ink, the two-dimensional code 18 is printed with green ink and the two-dimensional code 19 is printed with blue ink. Then, the label is illuminated by an illumination unit 3 and image-picked up by a video camera 4. At the tip of the video camera, a band-pass filter 6 is arranged. The video camera picks up the image of only the two-dimensional code 17 when the band- pass filter is the passing filter of red light, the video camera picks up the image of only the two-dimensional code 18 when it is the passing filter of green light and the video camera picks up the image of only the two-dimensional code 19 when it is the passing filter of blue light. In such a manner, the two-dimensional codes of respective colors are individually discriminated, read and decoded. |
