PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the transmission/reception of medical data, to transmit video clearly and also to confirm preceding videos. SOLUTION: An information transmission reception system 1 for a preceptor that at least has video cameras 2, 3, a monitor 4, a microphone 5, a speaker 6, a video coder/decoder 13, a voice coder/decoder 16 and a multiplexer/ demultiplexer unit 18 is connected to an information transmission reception system on a resident side having the same configuration as that of the system 1 via a communication network 37, the video cameras 2, 3 are connected to the multiplexer/demultiplexer unit 18 via a video signal changeover switch 9, a video tape recorder 11 is connected between the monitor 4 and the multiplexer/demultiplexer unit 18, and the video tape recorder is connected to the multiplexer/demultiplexer unit 18 via the video signal changeover switch 9. Thus, medical information is clearly and easily exchanged even between remotely located places, preceding videos are recorded and transmitted to another information transmission reception system. |
