The invention concerns a device implantable in the vascular ducts, characterised in that it comprises an elongated intraluminal element (8) capable of occupying, in a section of the vascular lumen, a volume of said lumen, so as to increase the speed at the vascular wall at the level of said element without decreasing the blood flow and without exerting any substantial mechanical action on the vascular wall, said element being associated with a fixing means in the vascular lumen.
