PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing a liquid crystal display device by which sticking defect of a polarizing plate is reduced and a substrate is also prevent from being injured. SOLUTION: In a process F3 (formation of a protective film), a protective film consisting of a polyimide resin, for example, is formed by offset printing or spin coating, etc., on an outside of a liquid crystal display panel. Then, in a process F4 (parting), parting to respective liquid crystal display devices is executed and in a process F5 (liquid crystal injection, sealing), liquid crystals are injected into the liquid crystal display panel and an injection hole is sealed. Then, in a process F6a (protective film stripping), the protective film is removed by etching or the like and in a process F6b (polarizing plate sticking), the polarizing plate is stuck onto the liquid crystal display panel. Even if cullet is generated at the time of parting in the process F4, the cullet can be removed together with the protective film at the time of removing the protective film in the process F6a since the cullet is stuck onto the protective film. |
