<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent interruption by bus reset by preparing a network structure which minimizes a bottle neck of communication on the basis of a network structure after change of a network system and outputting its image. SOLUTION: When bus reset occurs, a CPU: 1 acquires a topology map and a speed map for a new system from a bus manager, decides whether a changed tree structure is ideal or not, prepares image data for indicating an ideal tree structure for an IEEE 1394 and transmits them to a printer 70. An RAM: 2 stores data such as print data and a program to be executed by the CPU: 1. When an operator operates a keyboard 9, data inputted by way of a controller 5 are read by the CPU: 1. When some picture is displayed, if the picture data are transmitted to a CRT controller 6, a video signal in accordance with the data is transmitted to a CRT: 10 and the picture is displayed.</p> |
