FIELD: metallurgy, methods for suspension casting. SUBSTANCE: in the process of mould casting, or just before (after) it, dispersion inoculator - frigiter, alloying and modifying additions - is introduced in the melt. Alloying and modifying additions are fed together with the frigiter milled to the same state as the frigiter material - disperse particles of 0.01 to 5.0 microns. EFFECT: enhanced physico-mechanical properties of castings, eliminated shrinkage cavities and other defects of casting, reduced cost of castings due to sharp reduction of consumption of alloying materials.
