FIELD: equipment for cleaning of air-vapor mixtures in survival systems and respiratory organ protective devices under adverse working conditions. SUBSTANCE: filtering and absorbing box has casing with throat, threaded ring put onto casing and provided with inner rim, and closure with filter. Absorber, such as burden, is placed inside casing. Closure has annular bead and is adapted for retaining outer fold of filter between end of annular bead and casing bottom. Ring has inner thread and is made from flexible material. Closure has outer thread and is adapted to be screwed into threaded ring against the stop. EFFECT: reduced metal usage, decreased weight and sizes of box, reliable box connections and simplified construction. 1 dwg
