The telephone card comprises a smart chip which is intended to give the user a given amount of credit for use of the telephone system. The card carries access numbers for the specific server and a code to accompany this. The information is printed on two distinct supports which are then glued together (1,3). The main support (1) is intended to carry the fixed and constant characteristics of the telephone, and may also carry other messages and promotional or advertising material. The secondary support carries specific characteristics which give the exact amount of credit. The construction is such that the components may be assembled without loss of confidentiality.
