PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an amplification device with an abnormality detection circuit capable of detecting whether one of two amplifiers is abnormal or both are abnormal in the case that abnormality is generated in the amplification device. SOLUTION: Input signals are divided into signals of which the mutual phase difference is 90 degrees by a 90-degree coupler 2 for distribution, the devided signal is amplified in the two amplifiers 1A and 1B respectively and then, synthesized in the 90-degree coupler 3 for the distribution. Pilot signals modulated by modulation signals are inputted to the input side of the two amplifiers 1A and 1B by the same phase and amplified, the pilot signals are taken out on the output side of the 90-degree coupler 3, the phase is adjusted to 45 degrees in a vector adjuster 14, correlation is detected by the pilot signals of the same frequency and the same phase and the signal levels of I components and Q components are detected. Thus, it is detected that one or both of the two amplifiers 1A and 1B is abnormal. |
