PRODUCTION OF TRANSFER FILM AND COLOR FILTER

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transfer film which enables efficient production of a high-quality color filter with a good cut state of pixel edges and without transfer defects. SOLUTION: In the production process of a color filter, a transfer film produced by successively depositing a base film, cushion layer and photosensitive resin layer is used. The photosensitive resin layer face is laminated to a substrate while at least the transfer film is heated, the base film and the cushion layer are peeled, and the photosensitive resin layer is hardened with light by irradiation with active rays and developed to form a specified color pattern. In this method, the transfer film used has the max. adhesion strength between the cushion layer and the base film, and storage elastic modulus of the cushion layer and/or the photosensitive resin layer as the structural material is controlled to <=1×10<5> Pa in the temp. range from 80 deg.C to 100 deg.C.
