N-cyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide prepared by a continual oxidation of cyclohexylamoniumbenzothiazole-2- -tiolate in the reaction of 2-mercaptobenzothiazole with cyclohexylamine and with sodium hypochlorite in a molar ratio ranging from 1 : 1.5 to 5.0 : 1.0 to 1.5 in a single mixed reactor, wherein all three reaction components are fed simultaneously, or in two continual mixed reactors arranged in succession and in such a manner that cyclohexylamoniumbenzothiazole-2-tiolate is prepared, in a first phase, at 30 - 80 degrees Celsius; this compound is, in a second phase, oxidised by sodium hypochlorite thus obtaining N-cyclohexylbenzothiazole-2-sulfenamide. The content of the reactor being constantly fed with materials is quickly warmed up from operation temperature 10 - 50 degrees Celsius to temperature 55 - 80 degrees Celsius and it is quickly cooled down back to operation temperature 10 - 50 degrees Celsius at which a min. temperature difference between a reaction mixture and cooling medium is kept; individual intervals are periodical and the length thereof is influenced by a heat load value and the state of the reaction mixture oxidised.
|
