The method for vibrational cleaning liquids of suspended foreign particles may be used for cleaning water, oil, liquid fuels, lubricants, food oils, foods, liquid industrial wastes of microparticles sized of more than 0,01 mu m. The proposed method includes generating and maintaining in a volume of the cleaned liquid (2) a propagating mechanical wave, such wave being obtained by means of its generating (3) in one part and its artificial attenuating (4) in another part of the processed volume of the liquid. A substantil reducing of energy consumption for cleaning a liquid of foreign microparticles is achieved by means of that the liquid is processed while having in the zone of propagating of the said mechanical wave a free interface, and that the frequency of this wave is set up below the acoustic diapason. The invention can be widely used both in industries and in housekeeping.
