The invention relates to a light transmission system (10) for an endoscopic device. Said system comprises at least one first light guide (12) which supplies light from a light source (14), and at least one second light guide (20) which is arranged downstream from the first light guide (12). A coupling point (36) is provided between a light outlet surface (38) of the first light guide (12) and a light inlet surface (40) of the second light guide (20). The light from the first light guide (12) is injected into the second light guide (20) at said coupling point. The coupling point (36) is configured such that light beams which exit the first light guide (12), said light beams running parallel to the axis in the first light guide (12), run in the second light guide (14) in an inclined manner at an angle ( beta ) with regard to the longitudinal axis thereof. The invention provides that the coupling point (36) is configured in such a way that the angle ( beta ) can be adjusted in a variable manner.
