PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform output in a sort mode when a cover and interleaf mode, etc., are set by providing a controlling means which sets a non-sort mode when a specified operation mode is set or which performs output in the sort mode even though a printing output mode is not set. SOLUTION: When an erasing button 701 displayed inside a display panel 620 with a touch panel is pressed, the panel 620 is returned to an initial picture without processing. When a deciding button 702 is pressed after a group mode set button 703 which is for a preparing step to set a group sort mode is pressed, an output mode is set to the group sort mode. Next, when a sort mode set button 704 which is for the preparing step to set the sort mode is pressed, the output is set in the sort mode. By such operation, the output is entirely performed in the sort mode in the case of a pamphlet mode or the cover and interleaf mode, so that efficient action can be provided. |
