PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform heating and deodorization at the same time, making use of the heat generated at heating. SOLUTION: This heater provided with a deodorizing function is composed of a ceramic 2 bearing a catalyst to decompose bromine and a film heater 3 for heating this ceramic 2. When the ceramic 2 is heated by the heat generation of the film heater 3, a far infrared ray is generated from the ceramic 2, and heating effect can be obtained. Moreover, by heating the ceramic 2, the born catalyst is activated, and the bromine in the air touching the catalyst is decomposed, and the deodorization is performed. In this way, the heating and the deodorization making use of the heat are performed at the same time. Moreover since this heater performs the deodorization by the catalyst activated by heat, this can dispense with the maintenance to keep the deodorizing function. |
