Grooved ring seal especially for hydraulic clutches

The ring seal has two radially spread out sealing elements wherein a first static element adjoins a wall of the housing (3) and is formed as a valve flap (8) and the second dynamic sealing element sealingly adjoins a piston (7). The valve flap is formed as an axially extended integral section of the seal back (4) aligned towards the pressure chamber (5) and is associated with an axially aligned inlet groove (9a) which is formed in a sleeve face of the seal back. The valve flap is in plan view substantially trapezoidal changing with rounded areas into an end side of the seal back.
