Method of inserting and/or removing cables into and/or from containers

The method involves guiding the cable (30) outside the container (31) and inserting it into the container with a positive motor thrust. The motor is guided with respect to its height and lateral position relative to the container. It can be inserted into the container at an oblique downward angle, then in the opposite direction, and the angle between the thrusts measured and used to control the first thrust. An Independent claim is also included for an arrangement for implementing the method.
