Method of conveying sheets in a printer

The method involves conveying the sheets (4) to the printer points (2a,2b) positionally accurately with sheet transport devices, whereby the sheets are held securely in position wrt. the transport devices using adhesive (14). The sheet transport devices contain a continuously circulating belt on which the sheets are held exclusively by the adhesive. Independent claims are also included for a printer and a satellite printer.
