摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exhibit the effect of a composite electrode even if an electrolyte is little by applying a composite layer of a metal oxide as a main active material and polyaniline/ethane disulfonic acid as a binder to a carbon fiber paper and molding. SOLUTION: A lithium secondary battery positive electrode (composite electrode) 1 comprises a carbon fiber paper (current collector) 6 consisting of carbon fiber 5 and a composite layer 4 of a metal oxide (inorganic matter) 2 as a main active material with polyaniline/ethane disulfonic acid 3 as a binder applied thereto. The composite electrode 1 is formed by applying a paste prepared by adding the metal oxide 2 to a solution having polyaniline dissolved thereto to the carbon fiber paper 6, removing the excessive solvent by a prescribed method, and further dipping the resulting carbon fiber paper 6 in an ethane disulfonic acid solution to add the ethane disulfonic acid to the polyaniline applied to the surface of the metal oxide 2.
