摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the manufacturing method of a positive active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with excellent battery characteristics. SOLUTION: A lithium manganese composite oxide represented by LiMn2 O4 is synthesized with manganese oxides which are divided by particle size distribution and a lithium compound, then the obtained composite oxide having different particle size distribution are mixed. The lithium manganese composite oxide near to the objective atomic molar ratio of manganese and lithium can perfectly, uniformly be synthesized. Therefore, the positive active material for a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery with high battery characteristics can be obtained.
