PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a card type video editing method and its device in which a work such as preparation of a video story or editing is simple, there is little constraint on a place, conformity is well maintained and cooperative works are easier to perform. SOLUTION: Information to be coordinated is imparted to an information entry card 2, and video information is printed by a printing means 10. A user 1 adds a processing to this card 2. Information such as the one on a video and working information are read by a card reading means 102 from a card 3 to which the processing is added. In accordance with a rule given by the information such as the one on the read video and the processing information, a video generation means 13 adds the processing to the video information and generates a video 5. By performing the processing regarding the video by using a card on which the video information is printed by imparting information which can coordinate when read by the reading means in this way, it is designed that production of a story and editing can be performed as usual and a huge amount of video editing is enabled only by reading the processed card.
