PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize unused gas for recovering power and reduce the power of a motor by providing a combustion means burning the off-gas from a fuel cell and a turbine compressor compressing air with a compressor section and feeding air to the fuel cell via the combustion energy in the combustion means. SOLUTION: A burner 10 serving as a combustion means 1 burns the unused gas from a fuel cell 4 and the unused air, the generated combustion energy is applied to the turbine section 21 of a turbine compressor 2 to rotatively drive a compressor section 22. Air is compressed by the rotation of the compressor section 22 and fed to the fuel cell 4. The rotative drive of the motor 20 is assisted, the power of the motor 20 is reduced, and the power consumption of a system is reduced to 1-3 kW. When an evaporation burner 31 burning methanol as evaporating fuel is provided on the reformer 3, the response of the reformer 3 can be improved. |
