PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a regenerative type radiant tube burner with a cooling function within a furnace. SOLUTION: In a regenerative type radiant tube burner wherein burner bodies Bra and Brb are disposed within both end parts of a radiant tube 10 and regenerative bodies 14a and 14b are arranged respectively on the outer circumference parts of the burner bodies while air supply port/exhaust gas discharged ports 17a and 17b for combustion are provided being positioned at the rear parts of the regenerative bodies, the regenerative bodies 14a and 14b are arranged on the outer circumference parts of the burner bodies Bra and Brb with a specified clearance A from the internal surface of the radiant tube 10 while the clearance A is sectioned along the length of partition members 16a and 16b to provide air supply port/exhaust ports 18a and 18b for cooling which communicate with the section clearance A on the tip sides of the burner bodies Bra and Brb . Cooling air is supplied from the air supply port/exhaust ports during the cooling of the inside of a furnace T and discharged without passing through the regenerative bodies. |
