The invention relates to 3-, 8-substituted deuteroporphyrin derivatives with various substituents in positions 13 and 17 of the porphyrin skeleton. The invention also relates to pharmaceutical substances containing said compounds and to the use thereof as a therapeutic control in photodynamic therapy (PDT) and MRI diagnosis. The invention further relates to methods to produce these compounds and substances.
