Thermal cladding block for roof lining

A thermal insulation block for lining the inside of a roof is improved by having a contoured upper surface. This can take the shape of raised rhombic sections (2) separated by recessed shapes (3) to form water drainage ducts. The drainage ducts at the edge of the lower and upper edges of the blocks are positioned to align with those of adjacent blocks to form a continuous water drainage pattern down the roof. The contoured pattern prevents water draining off either side of each block.
