A twin clutch (10) has a clutch shaft (12) with first (K1) and second (K2) individual clutches. Each clutch (K1, K2) is operated by a respective piston (36, 46), each with a first radial surface (F11, F12) on which a fluid acts. The pistons (36, 46) each enclose a chamber (58) on the side away from their radial surfaces (F11, F12) but adjacent to a second radial surface (F12, F22). The second radial surfaces (F12, F22) are of the same size. The chamber (58) is fluid-filled. |
