<p>A ready-to-assemble storage cabinet (10. 60. 70) includes a pair of metal-formed side walls (12, 14) and a back wall (16) transversely connected to a top and bottom walls (18, 20) and secured thereto by posts (34) depending from an interior surface of the top and bottom walls (18, 20) received in channels (32) defined on an interior surface of the side walls (12, 14), and fasteners (27, 39, 45, 49, 51, 64, 66) on either the bottom (20) or side and back walls (12, 14, 16) to prevent withdrawal of the posts (34) from within the channels (32). The front wall (30) can be provided with drawers (22, 24, 62), doors (74), or other components to complete the assembly as desired. Further provided is a method of assembling the cabinet (10, 60, 70) wherein the posts (34) on the top and bottom walls (18, 20) are inserted within the channels (32) on the side walls (12, 14) and are fastened thereto to prevent withdrawal of the posts (34) from the channels (32).</p> |
