Release control for engine cover and luggage cover for vehicle

A combined release control (5) for the engine cover and rear luggage cover in a vehicle has the control shaped to simulate the shape of the vehicle. The control is tipped or slid in either direction to release the corresponding cover. The control is provided with graphic indicators ie. depicting open front or rear cover to indicate which way the control has to be moved. The control can also be a double tag with the operator lifting the appropriate tag to release a cover.
