The arrangement includes an input device (13) which reads demand information (21) from a place (18) requesting articles (30). An output device (14) outputs a determined extent of the article demand. A first memory area (12) stores the article data (32), and a second memory area (11) stores an individual demand profile spectra (31) for the requesting places, with respect to the article data. This provides the extent of the demand of an article in dependence of the requesting place. An Independent claim is included for a corresponding demand determination method.
