A valve, especially for controlling the flow of a heat carrier medium in a circuit in a vehicle, comprises a molding (26) which carries the medium, and a throttling unit which regulates the flow. The molding consists of an elastic material while the throttling unit consists of a pressure member which can be pressed together when pressure is exerted on the molding.
