A converyor capable of attaching and detaching its unit for transporting articles easily and safely with simple structure at the time of cleaning and also capable of preventing parts from falling off at the time of attaching and detaching of these units, wherein both a transfer unit (3) and a motor unit (4) are mounted detachably on a support unit (2), the transfer unit (3) is detachable upwardly of the support unit (2), an output shaft (4b) of the motor unit (4) is connectable to and disconnectable from a drive roller (11a) of the transfer unit (3) through first and second connecting devices (18a, 18b) and, when the transfer unit (3) is dismounted at the time of cleaning, a clamp (31) is released so as to unlock the motor unit (4), the first and second connecting devices (18a, 18b) are disconnected from each other and a clamp (30) is released so as to unlock the transfer unit (3) from the support unit (2), whereby the transfer unit (3) can be removed upward.
